Nicole Markhoff is a freelance fashion filmmaker, video-editor and animator based in London, United Kingdom.
Nicole was born and grew up in Mauritius, and Germany. In Germany, she studied Digital Media (BA) at Baden Württemberg Cooperative State University in Mannheim, and worked as a digital designer and promoter for fashion, lifestyle and tech brands. It is this background that helped carve her multifaceted visual style, digital media techniques and strong understanding of advertising and branding.
During her gap year in Seoul, South Korea, she started to make films with her iPhone, this led to a film-editing internship with Tank Magazine in London. She went on to animating London Fashion Week’s idents, while working in graphic design and corporate branding, and doing her Master degree in Fashion Media Production at London College of Fashion - University of the Arts London.
Since January 2014, she freelances full-time between London and Seoul.
